Lacey Brown | Worship and Faith Curator
Lacey is a percussionist, singer/songwriter, teacher, and worship leader from Seattle, WA. She holds a B.A. and a M.M. in Percussion Studies and enjoys performing and teaching an array of instruments and styles of music. When she’s not playing the drums, you can find her plucking away at her guitar, singing, recording, and songwriting. Kacey Hahn | Pastor
Pastor Kacey Hahn comes to St. Matthew's with many passions for ministry. Her pastoral heart flutters with joy when communities of faith tend to matters of justice, youth ministry, stewardship, shared leadership, advocacy, creativity and innovation. For over 20 years, Pastor Kacey has served the ELCA as a youth director, campus pastor, interim pastor, ELCA Youth Gathering team manager and parish pastor in the Southwest and Midwest. She is thrilled to roll up her sleeves and serve with the faithful of St. Matthew's. When Pastor Kacey is not pastoring, you can find her hiking, sipping a pint of craft beer, traveling, hanging out with family and friends, laughing with her kids (Derek and Grace), or walking along Lake Washington with her husband (David).
Libby Lucier | Community and Communications Coordinator
Libby was born in Yakima, WA, but as a child lived with her family in Salt Lake City, Utah and Spokane, WA. Libby moved to the Eastside (Bellevue) with her family at thirteen and eventually settled in Renton with her husband , Dan, to raise their two children, Dan Jr. and Kathleen. They also enjoy their dog "Chip", sometimes referred to as "Chip the WonderDog" . Her employment background is customer service/sales support and was a floral designer for 10 years, which she continues to enjoy as a hobby. Libby loves music and enjoys all the wonderful “life lessons” that impact her life.
Nicole VanderMeulen | Children, Youth & Family Director
Nicole is a Michigan native, but loves living in Washington with her husband, Jon, and children, Cooper and Cora. She graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota with a BA in Elementary Education. Nicole’s previous endeavors include teaching third grade in a Minnesota public school and serving as the Minister of Family Life at St. James Lutheran in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She joined St. Matthew’s staff on September 1, 2007 and is thrilled for the opportunity to work with children and share God’s love.
