A Memorial Service

One of the most pain filled experiences in life is to conceive a child and look forward with great anticipation to this new life only to have the experience end in death. This is a loss known by so many people in our community. We unknowingly add to the parent’s grief when we do not know how to acknowledge their loss.
St. Matthew’s will be hosting a Memorial Service to remember our children who were not able to experience life in its fullness. This Memorial is open to all as we will gather to remember the children and to bring a word of hope and comfort to the families.
Parents who would like are invited to bring memorabilia of their child(ren) which we will carefully display at the entrance of the worship space. A reception will be held following the service for all of those who attend.
