The service itself if called the “Chicago Folk Service” – written in the 70’s and totally “rad.”  If you’re a fan of Holden Evening Prayer, this service is very much like it – with a kick!  We will be having communion every week, and the sermon time will be more interactive than a regular Sunday morning service.

So please plan to join us!  We’d love to see you.

Here’s a little insight into what we have been studying in Chapter 5 on “the Fuel of Forgiveness” : Our Grand New Day is FILLED with forgiveness!!  Forgiveness allows us to let go of the past and embrace the wondrous tomorrow God has planned all along. What GREAT News!!  Lets learn together to be BETTER not Bitter and if you don’t release them……..you will start to resemble them.  Come and hear what the beauty of forgiveness means for you on your journey to a Grand New Day!! All are invited to the confirmation ritual, in worship on Sunday, May 23 at 11am. Following worship, stop by the reception and congratulate the students—they’ve spent the last year studying, serving, having some fun, and impressing the adults who’ve worked with them. This ceremony is only one step on their faith journey, but it’s a great time for all of us to say “thanks” – these students add a lot to our community!
