Sunday Feb. 5th
All youth Superbowl party! Come and watch the big game with your friends. We will stream it live downstairs in the youth room on a big screen. Bring a Superbowl snack to share – drinks will be provided.

Sunday Feb. 12th:
Yakama Mission Trip meeting, 12pm in the conference room. Parents and students 8th grade and older are invited to come and hear about a summer mission trip opportunity to serve on the Yakama Reservation. We will discuss potential costs, dates, and fundraising opportunities. Please consider being a part of this important trip!

SMACK, 6-7:30pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Sunday Feb. 19th
Thunderbirds Hockey Game 4pm – 8pm. Meet at St. Matthew’s at 4pm. The cost is $10, which must be paid in advance by February 5th. Bring along some extra money for snacks at the game.

January 1st: No SMACK. Enjoy the new year!

January 8th: All youth parents meeting, 7pm. Come and hear about youth ministry at St. Matthew’s, bring your own ideas, and see how you can be involved.

January 15th: SMACK 6-7:30pm @ St. Matthew’s

January 20th: Middle School GO! Night. 6pm – 7am.

January 29th: SMLC Annual meeting at Luther’s Table (watch for details to come)

Sunday December 4th: Youth Leadership and Planning Team meeting, 12:00pm
Sunday December 4th: SMACK, 6-7:30pm at St. Matthew’s.
Sunday December 11th: SMACK Christmas party! All middle school and high school students are invited, 6-7:30pm. Bring a wrapped, “white elephant” gift.
Sunday December 18th: Crazy Christmas Serve! Come dressed like Santa, and be ready to hand out pillows, blankets, candy canes, and hot chocolate to those in need. For all middle school and high school students. 6-8pm.
Monday December 19th: Renton Community Supper, 4:30-7:30pm. High school students are invited to help serve a meal to those in need in our own Renton Community.

Adopt-a-family
You have a chance to help make Christmas special for a family in need! Talk to Todd to be a part of giving gifts to a family in the St. Matthew’s adopt-a-family program. We will distribute the gifts to the family on December 18th.

St. Matthew’s After School Program needs your votes! We have entered ourselves in a contest to receive a grant for $5000 from the The Pepsi Refresh Everything program. This program awards grants to charitable organizations who apply for the money and who are able to get into the top 20 in voting for their category. Each person can vote twice per day for the idea, so it’s important to vote every day and get as many people as possible to vote as well.

Here’s how you can vote: go to: http://www.refresheverything.com/smlcafterschool and click on “vote for this idea.” You will need to register for an account, and then you can vote. Another easy way to vote is to text 109112 to Pepsi (73774). It’s free to vote, and you can vote once per day using each method. Thanks for your support!!

November 6th: Pizza with the Pastors! Come and talk with Pastor Kathryn and Pastor Kirby about being involved in the life of St. Matthew’s. It’s at 12pm and the pizza is free!

November 13th: SMACK 6-7:30pm at St. Matthew’s

Saturday November 19th: All youth scavenger hunt + dinner! Meet at St. Matthew’s at 10am, and bring $ for lunch. We will be back by 1pm or so.

Friday September 9th: Renton Community Supper
High School students – come and help out at the Renton Community Supper! It’s a great way to serve those who are in need in our community. Meet at St. Matthew’s at 4:30pm.

Saturday September 10th: St. Matthew’s Summer Send-Off Luau
All youth are invited to the St. Matthew’s summer send-off luau! It’s 5-8pm. Come and eat some pig and play some games.

September 16-18: Confirmation Fall Retreat

SMACK starts Sunday night September 25th! 6-7:30pm, for all middle school and high school students.

August 3rd Roller Blading/Skating @ Bellevue Skate King
1:00-3:30pm
Cost: $5 Admission + $1.50 Skate Rental or $4 Inlines
This is going to be a fun filled day at Skate King in Bellevue. Please meet at the church at 12:30pm.

August 11th Open mic night and dinner at Luthers Table
6:30pm-9:00pm
Cost: Around $15.00 for dinner
This will be a fun filled night for a good dinner. If you have a talent you can participate in open mic night. Please meet at the church at 6:00.

August 17th Mariners Game
7:10pm-10:00pm
Cost: $10.00 per ticket plus food and souvenirs.
Get ready for an awesome game at Safeco field! This game is against the Blue Jays. Please meet at the church at 5:45 pm.

August 24th Family Fun Center
3:00-8:00pm
Cost: $15.00 plus food
This 15 dollars is for unlimited rides and will be worth your money. Please meet at the church at 2:30 pm.

August 26th – Nerf Night VI
8pm -8am
Cost: $5
